"Greed, can be filled with simple joys."
There are times in my life when I wonder- if tomorrow was the last day am I content with what I accomplished today?
Sadly, majority of the time my answer is No. I tend to not live my life to the fullest because to some of us living it to the fullest would mean living on the edge, becoming a dare devil and probably doing everything that is out of our capabilities currently. Today though, I've concluded that honestly, the thought itself is almost silly : I have nothing to regret- we as humans all make mistakes and how else do we learn unless we make those mistakes in life.
We do not know how to live life to the fullest perhaps to others views, but that's because when we become adults we forget what it means to be content with the littlest things in life. As children did we not like everyone else have curiosity towards simple things like toys, foods, or maybe a cell phone or just pair of keys- such simple things could amuse us as babies. Today we worry about taxes, bills and how tomorrow's expenses and how the future will be impacted by our actions today.
Well, why not just STOP.
Just for one moment, sit there look at what you may have- sure it may not be a million dollar yacht or your dream car and maybe you don't live in the amazing house you dreamed about as a child... but do you have still have yourself ? do you not still have loved ones- families maybe friends....perhaps just a stranger who helped you today or rather why not be that stranger and lend a hand.
In my life, I have come across many unlikely occurrences but in the end I have been more than thankful to those who extended their hands to me. Strangers, I never knew before- one helped me with my shopping cart, another assisted me when my car died, and some just help me hold doors.
Simple gestures of kindness- simple little things in life can be enjoyed. Explore yourself again, all those things you "think" you want? Are they truly what you want or just something stuffed into your mind by outer influences?
Spending moments with my family for me can fill me up, sure we annoy eachother but when I have no one it is family who will eventually use their "annoying" ways haha to enter my little bubble.
We dream, we hope, we crave, but in the end the feeling of curiosity and contentment should be enough to fill our greedy mindsets.
