Vision Doesn't Change

My title today, only has one word... did you notice that. That photo above, what do you see?
I came up with a few possibilities:
It could be... a rose petal on a leaf laying on the group after a rain shower
It could be... the end of a ribbon being dragged across the wet ground
or...what do you think?

Envision something like this...envision how others see things differently. We live in a world that vision is dominant now, but how we all see it differs with judgement.
Precise vision, is known as 20/20...I don't have good vision but abstract never hurts. Plus a more colorful imagination always makes the world a little better right?

Remember when we were all children, and we thought our parents were so tall and that we'd never be that tall? Well, how about now...I'm already looking down at my parents. But it makes my thoughts as a child all the more interesting.

My point is, Vision changes with age and time..but that item we see never changes it's how we envision it that changes it.

Hang Up Your Stars

"If every star in the sky is a wish, how many wishes are there?"

Allow us to hang up our wishes, allow us to continue our dreams, and thanks to the stars we have a place to send our hopes...

I do not know about you, but I know about me. In my life, I've had ups and downs and times where I feel that I'll never be able to stand up again but I do...eventually. The strength behind standing up again isn't something great like, inner strength that can keep me standing but it is support and care. This support and care, is like every single star in the sky--- alone they are only individual stars in a vast ocean of endless darkness but together we view them as millions and millions of individual stars that stand together shining back on us.
Perhaps, it is because in my life I met with a little girl who made stars a little more noticeable in life. She views them with a smile, with her heart and it was her that showed me that a "star" can be hope, can be dreams, and can be upheld with strings stronger than any... (strings of love).

I do not know how else to help her fulfill her wishes besides, accompanying her and bring her every star that I lay my eyes one.

So, the story to share today... "Hang up your stars, and let your wishes go up up and away to rejoice in the skies..." Sometimes dreams and wishes just need some hope, and that hope is the love and care the ones around you can provide.

Over a cup of coffee :D

Do you have a friend who has to have a cup of coffee a day?
or maybe you yourself are like this?

Regardless, I believe that there is a lot of meaning behind this simple cup of coffee.
For instance someone's personality, yes it seems ridiculous but perhaps if someone's personality was a certain way or maybe their habits created by their personality's influence how they enjoy their coffee.

In one case I can explain it this way-
some days I wake up and I feel like a mocha is the way to go - my reasoning is simple I need some sweetness but hot chocolate is too far but I don't wish for something too bitter.
So I'll enjoy a mocha to begin my day.

Other days perhaps a latte, but a normal latte is never what I order... I usually go with hazelnut or a vanilla flavor. Why? Well I enjoy the latte but sometimes it feels too light and I still need some enhancing to the flavor- the rest of my day seems to need an extra kick too.

Then there are days where some regular coffee, with a flavored creamer is nothing but perfect. It's simple and only takes a few minute of my morning and I can choose different types of creamers like recently I really liked a girl scout's cookie flavored creamer :D

A cup of coffee, can get cold though...I have a habit where I have to finish the coffee before it cools. And by cool I mean it reaches luke warm, and I am finished. (I know it sounds wasteful, but if I have a microwave nearby I'll reheat it haha)
Perhaps it is how my personality is too, I either finish a whole task while my wheels are turning
or I give up and return to it when I have a new start up.

See, personality and coffee comes in a package <3

Over a cup of coffee though, regardless of males or female a lot can be accomplished.
To some it may just be a caffeine kick of the day, but really
its a mood booster too.
Some individuals drink it so much without knowing it, you call a friend to meet up and you have a coffee with them finish the conversation and realize over coffee you've gained lost memories.

Over Coffee is fluff, and that fluff is like your every day mind.
fluff works like that haze you have in the morning it shields the boiling mixture inside
after the fluff disappears like the coffee in the cup you're thinking more clear too.

(My addiction for coffee ends here...*after I have one more.)

Fight with the strength of a light house

If I asked you to think of the strongest item in this world? What would you think of... a man? a woman? or more specifically maybe an item is what you are picturing.
No matter what it is, perhaps its just how you like to view the words "strong". Your way of putting an image of something to a word to give it more strength and meaning.
In my defense, I do not think strong means indestructible or imperishable; rather considering other factors such as: continually standing or withstanding a great force but using whatever is left in one's power source.
My image of strong, was created when I laid my eyes upon a lighthouse. In some cases they appear eerie but in other times they can appear beautiful, fragile even. Upon the image below I concluded something about life... image every human were a lighthouse.
In the past some lighthouses have fallen, and then rebuilt because ships depend upon them... because they hold stories. Lighthouses face strong winds, protect others, and even pull through after the biggest tides crash into them continually. The beauty in the strength of a lighthouse lays in the simple factor after a storm it stands by itself still... tall maybe bewildered but standing.

Now think like a lighthouse, and fight like one too; become a lone warrior in the middle of all tides fight to survive... for those who need your guidance and come for your hidden beauty.
Never give up a battle, and remember even when you lose, someone is coming to your aide so do not fear the battle because the war itself has yet to start.

Glass hearts and their beauty

When tautened by this image below, it almost seems directly negative and lost.

Notice though, in my title I stated it's beauty. The beautiful thing about this glass heart is that it is Broken.
How can broken be beautiful...well how can nature be beautiful. The beholder of beauty of course sees beauty in its own way.
I witness a woman when I see a glass heart, fragile but strong. Stubborn but weak... a woman with a glass heart.

We feel emotions even when we are numb and feels as if emotions do not exist.
In the past few years that I've live I've learned that even in the dark there can be a beauty, that beauty is in the glass heart.

What happens when it breaks though? Nothing.
There is no such thing as nothing tho?
There is something that is nothing.
If it breaks we throw it away but not without thinking "can I fix it?"
Human's who feel pain or face different struggles in the stages of life are like this too.

I say: Keep it, remember the pain but further more remember that the grace of the glass is the light in the dark.

Remember..it's beauty.

Stop for the sweet tid bits

We busy ourselves daily with controlling lifestyles full of everyday schedules that repeat constantly, well I'd recommend taking at least one day and spend it and enjoy every little portion of it.

Today, I took the opportunity and went to a local cafe and creperie, Where they serve crepes as a full course meal and also they serve great appetizers and sides!

Today though I wanted to enjoy something a little simpler, sometime to relieve me of my stress to come and the stress that was building. I stopped for two different dishes 1) Aux Nutella Crepe
2)Tiramisu Crepe

the first dish was simply thickly melted chocolate folded in the crepe n covered by coco powder and powdered sugar. Served with a side of whip cream :>
The second a delicious lady finger cookie wrapped in a tiramisu buttercream filling, covered with the powder sugar and chocolate powder showered by a sweet condensed cream. Three decor layer of nothing but sweet goodness.

To too it off I grabbed myself a raspberry tea. (I'd also recommend the cafe bon bon- sweet coffee they serve here)

Greedy humans- the antidote (Live a new life)

"Greed, can be filled with simple joys."

There are times in my life when I wonder- if tomorrow was the last day am I content with what I accomplished today?

Sadly, majority of the time my answer is No. I tend to not live my life to the fullest because to some of us living it to the fullest would mean living on the edge, becoming a dare devil and probably doing everything that is out of our capabilities currently. Today though, I've concluded that honestly, the thought itself is almost silly : I have nothing to regret- we as humans all make mistakes and how else do we learn unless we make those mistakes in life.

We do not know how to live life to the fullest perhaps to others views, but that's because when we become adults we forget what it means to be content with the littlest things in life. As children did we not like everyone else have curiosity towards simple things like toys, foods, or maybe a cell phone or just pair of keys- such simple things could amuse us as babies. Today we worry about taxes, bills and how tomorrow's expenses and how the future will be impacted by our actions today.

Well, why not just STOP.

Just for one moment, sit there look at what you may have- sure it may not be a million dollar yacht or your dream car and maybe you don't live in the amazing house you dreamed about as a child... but do you have still have yourself ? do you not still have loved ones- families maybe friends....perhaps just a stranger who helped you today or rather why not be that stranger and lend a hand.

In my life, I have come across many unlikely occurrences but in the end I have been more than thankful to those who extended their hands to me. Strangers, I never knew before- one helped me with my shopping cart, another assisted me when my car died, and some just help me hold doors.

Simple gestures of kindness- simple little things in life can be enjoyed. Explore yourself again, all those things you "think" you want? Are they truly what you want or just something stuffed into your mind by outer influences?

Spending moments with my family for me can fill me up, sure we annoy eachother but when I have no one it is family who will eventually use their "annoying" ways haha to enter my little bubble.

We dream, we hope, we crave, but in the end the feeling of curiosity and contentment should be enough to fill our greedy mindsets.
My sister & I- Photo Shoot with the family. Thanks to Yee Lee.
